Why?

The Denial

Mans do not admit that attraction goes beyond pain. Once they get hurt, they do want to do anything with whom hurt them. But the fact that the attraction is still there means that they really love them. They convince that they should hate them. People don't realize that love doesn't go away like that.... They see denial as the best excuse.As an example, Lucas first did not admit that he still had feelings for her. When mans are in love, physical attraction does not go first.

Emotions

 The millionaire's marriage revenge.
" He made no move to touch his son, merely held out his hand towards him. " hello,Tom. I'am pleased to meet you at last,' he declared huskily, and Sofie could hear the emotion in his voice"
 Sofie had kept her son Tom away from  Lucas, his father. When he find out about his he wants to meet him right  away.
The reaction expected from him is totally the opposite. He stay calm and talk to him as if he was a random person that he was meeting.
Mans hide their emotions. If they show what they really feel. They think that are less man and people are not going look at them like they used to do. However it is totally the opposite. When a man expresses his feeling people thinks that they are kind and are less afraid to approached them.

It is helpful to think in terms of four basic human emotions: sadness, anger, happiness and fear. These are sometimes referred to as ‘sad, mad, glad and bad.’ Of these four emotions, only anger, and to a lesser extent, happiness, are considered truly ‘manly’ in the conventional model of masculinity. Yet fear and sadness are universal to the human species, not just women! These emotions serve a valuable purpose and are normal responses to threat and loss.

Because of the taboo against these supposedly ‘weak’ emotions, men often ‘bottle up’ their sadness and anxiety, and channel it into the emotion most available to them: anger. This can cause some men who are suffering emotionally to become powder kegs of potentially violent rage.

Because they have been taught to suppress their feelings, many men simply do not have the words to describe their own feeling states. This can lead to great frustration in relationship when they cannot express their needs, fears and griefs. Men often feel overwhelmed by their female partners when it comes to discussing emotional issues, because they cannot articulate their feelings or stand up for them. This can leave them feeling confused, angry and powerless.

Lucas asks Sofie for a night so he can get over her. Sofie is mad but at the same time she wants it.
Usually when people are hurt, they say anything that can hurt the person that caused the pain. It doesn't necessarily means that they don't love the person. At any time, they don't mean what they say. Specially women; when they are mad, they say things that could make someone kill himself..Man's think that when they drink and sleep with another women , they can take away the pain.
People have different ways of hilling themselves. Some talks, drink alcohol, commit a suicide, seek revenge etc. Problems come in different forms. They can be so painful that we do crazy things. Some person avoid relationship.

Life is a succession a pain and joy. It balances itself.  It can be cruel like Sofie mentioned. However there is something that can be done. This is the reason that most of people go into relationship. Your action depends on how your life is going to be. We can choose to seek for  happiness, and do anything in order for it to happen. Other people , choose to live one day at a time. There is different way we can address life.Life is also an  an experiment. The more experiments you make the better. The experiences makes people have a better knowledge of themselves. Even though people loose faith it is always good to stand up again and look at the world in a different way.
